    That was an interesting read. However It is a bit out of the date. The remaining same-sex sodomy laws were ruled unconstitutional and thus invalidated by the Lawrence decision in 2003.

    I know that in medieval times, gays were punished by having molten lead poured into their anus.

    Back in ancient times (greeks, romans etc.) it was okay to be a sodomiser. It was actually encouraged because it formed a relationship bond between two soldiers which made them fight more fiercely.
    Yeah that "buggery" law was also in Australia during colonisation but was taken out of Australian colonial law in (i think) 1890-something.
