    Uhh..

First the article claims it's going to explain how Hillary 'won the invisible primary, which depends on public’s receptivity to their candidacy and willingness of big donors to pay'.

And then it doesn't actually explain why Hillary has popularity with the donors and has public's receptivity to their candidacy... but instead tells how the big donors work (which I assume is the same as with Republicans)?

I feel a bit cheated by this article.

You can be opposed to Hillary if you want to. Just understand that whoever the Republicans are presenting will almost certainly be a person who actively supports continued systemic violence against us.

And even if the candidate is personally neutral on gay rights. The institutional mass of the GOP will continue to demand it

In no way can a Republican win the nomination without being against gay rights. Of course I would love a middle of the road president that can keep the house and senate together and be a bipartisan force that gets things done but sadly people are turning farther to the right or the left. We had a large number of Independents running in 2014 and I hope it is bigger and Independents get out there everywhere across this county. I personally believe there should a strong independent caucus in congress and a independent president in the White house. I will vote for Hillary if there is no better option but I like middle of the road politics better than anything.

The media can certainly sway things. It appears to be giving Hillary the "halo effect."

The "halo effect" is a common phenomenon and it's even a problem. It's the reason people who are considered very attractive are able to get by on their appearance and charisma, since the two sometimes go hand in hand, more so than their abilities.
