Well, it looks like the Florida legislature is on its way to passing a bill making it harder for gay couples to adopt in the name of 'religious freedom'. And one of them even had the pugnacity to cut off a ten year old in the hearings... This is why it's not safe to trust Republicans; this is also the Florida state legislature Marco Rubio helped to craft...and though shot down for now, I don't think this is the last we'll hear of these kinds of bills.
