I don't like much of what Katherine Cross writes, but this is really good.

Well it's possible people will read it. Katherine Cross is fairly well known in the feminist community; I'm not sure about the trans community. But one of the things going for her is she tends to agree with most social justice activists on the "essentials" (things I actually disagree with and don't like about her, but that's another story) to gain their respect.

The point is, she commands attention, as opposed to being some kind of rando.

 

I have it on fairly good authority that her criticisms of games are sometimes poorly researched. I haven't taken the time to evaluate these claims or her claims because I'm a hacker, not a gamer.
