They should bring that here to Chicago. I wouldn't go alone though, or else I would see what you mean by looking pervy.

 

This should be in the LGBT News as well... Because now I wann go and see some hot guys.

 

I think I would probably find it hard to concentrate on the menu or eating my food...

 

I might leave a bigger tip than usual here than at other restaurants Lol

I've been to two different male-oriented restaurants, Hooters and Twin Peaks, and I'd sure love for it to be more like the latter :lol:. Eats. Drinks. Scenic views.

 

About damn time we get some male action!

Holy sh!t!! Every time I see Hooters on TV I just think "horny old men perving on young women", now with the sexes swapped it seems quite different!

 

It will be for women. If it wasn't, it would essentially have been tagged as a gay nightclub. They want to make money and want broader appeal.

Why wouldn't lesbians go to Hooters? I've seen lesbians in strip joints frequented by men a time or two when I was there with a group. I don't like strip clubs all that much because, after you've experienced more, your bar is raised. I'm sure that, if the woman is a lesbian and she meets their qualifications, she could easily be hired at Hooters. As many Hooters as there are, there have to be some lesbians on the staff that is employed to bring food and drink to the customers.

 

I would feel Pervy going in honestly. And the guys knowing that I'm in there to see them....OMG. Maybe that's because I'm in the closet though.

The way girls act in hooters (to get bigger tips) would make things unconfortable for me. THEY SIT DOWN WITH YOU. If a random hot guy wanted to sit down for a bit and watch me eat I would freak out.

 

I just want good food, arousal and eating have always been two very separate desires for me. The concept of hooters, whether guys or girls kinda weirds me out. Just not for me ^.^

 

I don't think I'd like it, because I'm not really attracted to the beefy, muscular types they would most likely have. Now if it was cute Emo or Punk boys, or boys in scantily-clad Neko make-up & costumes, I'd definitely go!

But I'm just not into that buff, mainstream idea of male beauty. I prefer skinny/lanky/alternative looking sorts, and have never liked to see these hyper-masculine images promoted as some ideal that we should somehow put on a pedestal.

 

When I first heard about this I got excited until I read it's in Texas. On the other hand Dallas is somewhat liberal, my sister is a teacher in a Dallas suburb and her Principal is openly gay and just married his boyfriend this year. So I can definitely see guys going here with little to no problems.

This is a GREAT idea. I don't think that the restaurant industry has gotten nearly enough mileage out of male shirtlessness; it's really an untapped well of potential.

 

The stain on my laptop actually made me read "untapped" as "unfapped", gotta double check...
