    What's there to discuss? I've always had a suspicion that extremely anti gay people are just angry or hiding the fact they're gay themselves

    I feel the same about extremely anti christian people. I tend to think they really believe but have a problem with authority. Closet Christians if you will.

    people are strange.

    Hilariously ironic.

    I guess the phrase "if you can't beat them, join them" means two things here.

    Devil worshipers believe in God.
    Im talking about atheists
    the ones that run around demanding that anything that mentions God be taken down. As if just the mention of God is going to make someone a Christian.
    of course, if seeing the 10 commandments is going to turn little johnny Christian, then I suppose its equally possible that seeing two guys kissing is going to turn little johnny gay.

    It's not that the mention of God is going to turn people into Christians. It's because mention of a monotheistic God on public buildings, currencies, and legal documents is not only offensive to atheists and atheistic religions, but also to polytheistic religions such as Hinduism. For example, how would you feel if we put "In Brahman and Vishnu We Trust" on currency? It also goes against the wording and spirit of the First Amendment. We live in a nation that's supposedly going to have a secular government, but then added "In God We Trust" to currency and "Under God" to the pledge as a middle finger to communism. The last time I checked, communism mostly died off with the USSR.

    Quite a bit of a sweeping generalisation that you got there. I'm fairly certain the definition of atheism is "the lack of belief in any deity or supernatural being". :slight_smile: Let us not be coy, we all know very well that they are obviously talking about the Abrahamic Christian God.

    Yes they should.

    Also please show me one article where an atheist who wants to BAN religion who was caught praying at a church...

    You seem to confuse atheist wanting to remove the word God from government with atheist wanting to ban religion altogether.

    A piece of paper with a bunch of satanic symbolism, a form of money with the phrase "In God we trust" emblazoned on it.

    Yeah, I think I know what 'god' they're referring to.

    ~~~
    Jesus judges the heart, so this man while under pressure to do what he thought was 'right', committed more sin than had he been honest with himself and others. The fact that he also tried to suppress it so much made him turn to be more lustful than he might have been. I feel bad =[
    Luke 12:2-3
    "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops."
