    Good news! :icon_bigg

    More here and here

Please note that Greenland, although part of Denmark, didn't have same-sex marriage before.

Great news! I wonder how long that has been in the planning or whether its been a recent move.

Although I never realised the population was that small! Its quite fascinating, the capital has a population of only 15,000 (not even a small town here!) and yet looks to be really well equipped with some interesting modern architecture, the likes of what you'd only see in large towns and cities here. (I hope that doesn't sound patronising, its just intrigued me that's all!)

Perhaps the Faroe Islands will follow shortly, I hear polls suggest there is public support now, and there are even pride events now.

Considering this is their parliament it's not hard to see how it passed unanimously :roflmao:

I get annoyed thinking I'll never get a BF living in a small city of 70,000, I feel sorry for any gay person living in a country of 50,000!!

Soon it is going to be news if there is a country left where gay people can't get married!

Well, as of now there are more countries where homosexuality is illegal than countries where gay marriage is legal. Still have a ways to go.

The way things are going, I don't think those countries would ever adopt gay marriage, at least not in our life times. There's still countries where mixed marriages are illegal. (Mixed meaning mixed religions)
