LGBT News God hates...the Ivory Coast?

Is the Westboro Baptist Church real, or is it some sort of spoof? I know all sorts of madness exists in the US (I lived there for 2 unhappy years) but this seems to be beyond parody. My guess is it is all a big practical joke dreamed up by some TV network.

Nope. They are very real, unfortunately.

 

Real, but insignificant. According to the Source of All Truth (ie Wikipedia) they have 39 members. How does that compare with, say, the Metropolitan Community Church.

Happily their leaders are banned from entering the UK, as the British Government considers them a hate group.

 

Shamefully, they are very real...and apparently not too smart. Three stripes, three colors, center stripe is white...how difficult is it to get the remaining two colors in the correct placement. Asshats.

 

First Amendment implications aside, membership in the Westboro Baptist Church should be a ticket to a competency/psych evaluation.

 

Their generalized set of beliefs aren't nearly as uncommon on this side of the pond.


Don't get me wrong - a minority, sure, but much bigger than I'd like.

I would like to point out for those that dont know.
Westboro is not a sanctioned Baptist Church, they use the name.
they are also not considered by Christians, to be Christians.
Even those Christians that do hate gays, hate Westboro more than they hate gays.

Please do not consider these pieces of shit christians by any stretch of the imagination, they are not, the do not know God, they do not know Jesus, all they know is hate and ignorance.

I however being a Christain will pray for them, and hope that God sees fit to forgive them... Soon,, very soon, maybe before the day ends type of soon.

 

True and allegedly Fred Phelps confessed his hatred for gays was wrong on his deathbed not that is undo's the damage the he did.

I think these guys have proven they're not very intelligent. Many of the Bible quotes they put on signs don't even have anything to do with what the sign says. They are professional trolls and really don't need any attention paid to them.

The people who are more dangerous are the people who support "ex-gay camps" and anti-gay legislation in Africa. These are the people we should really be fighting against, not this stupid phony "church" who do everything for attention.

 

Exact opposite according to all Christians who believe the Bible fully.

What's odd is that each member is always holding something like 5 signs at each protest, as if to make it look like they have a bigger membership.

Every time I read this kind of articles I feel like their "God" is different from my God.

 

Oh course god hates rainbows. They get waved at pride flags.
