The story can be found here.

Let this be the proof that people need that their argument regarding religious freedom is bullshit. All they want is legal protection to discriminate against us. They do not believe in religious freedom, they believe in empowering themselves with special rights that they can use to continue to abuse us.

What I want to know is why the fuck isn't the federal judge who ruled in favor of marriage equality holding the judges in Alabama in contempt of court. They should be the ones going to prison. Marriage equality is legal in Alabama, right now, but this is how they are suppressing our right. There should be mass incarceration going on in Alabama right now, and this vile judge should be second in line--right behind Roy Moore.

I hope this minister appeals, and I can't imagine a situation where she doesn't win in a higher Federal Court. I hope she also sues for having her civil rights violated, and wins millions upon millions of dollars from the state. In fact, I hope every gay couple who wants to get married sues the state and is awarded millions upon millions of dollars. Let those bigots pay up.

How am I not surprised? It's Alabama. They're behind in racial justice and they're behind in LGBT justice. It seems like the place where people still stare at interracial couples.

    A cesspool, flyover state.

    It's a third-world country right in America.

Here's an actual example of religious persecution in America. I'm sure conservatives like Scalia will definitely set her free because it's her beliefs. Oh, they aren't? Hypocrites.

It always astounds me the violence that people can do to others when they think mistakenly that their moral view is correct and ordained by an invisible psychopath.

I feel the fact that this has not happened is proof enough the entire "religious freedom restoration act" campaign is a load of hot shit.

Typical hypocrites. Only helping their buddies when they can express their stupidity.

actually, the judge had stopped allowing marriages to be performed in his office back in February, all marriages.
so when she did it, she was in violation of that regardless of the gender of the participants.
when she was asked to stop and leave, she refused.
the same results would have played out regardless.
