    It's a very brave thing to do. However, like sexuality, to me it's a non-issue. I wish we could get to the point where something like this doesn't make headlines. It should just be something people accept and move past.

    Is she still preferring male pronoun, or now that she has adopted the name she wants and living true to herself publicly, she wish to be called with female pronoun?

    I've seen everyone referring to her as she with this.

    As for the nonissue thing, it won't become a nonissue until there is basically global LGBTQ+ acceptance.

    I'm 99.99% sure that's what I used the + for, hun. :wink:

    I am however happy for Caitlyn. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own bodies.

    I am so happy for her! I was getting lunch when I saw it on the news. For someone who has had to hide who she was for so long it's so great to see her as she truly is for the first time on such a beautiful cover.

    She's looking great.

    I would say though that it would be nice if Vanity Fair didn't feel they had to resort to photoshopping.

    She is a mature woman, who happens to have wrinkles which are perfectly normal at that age, yet VF airbrush a lot of that away.

    Perhaps though that was Jenner's direction, wanting to put her best face forward (she is parent to the Kardashians after all!) which I guess is understandable.

    A few people
    I'm so happy for her! Just a few days ago one of my family mentioned her when I came out, hopefully once he sees her after transition it will make him realize that passing is not impossible. That's why what Catilyn is doing is so important, people need to know that it is possible to change your body in such a way and it is not the end of the world when someone chooses to go through such a journey.

    Anyway, my day has definitely become a tiny bit better because of her. :slight_smile:

    I'm happy that she's where she wants to be. It's her life, her path, and something she needed to do.

    However, I'm not going to lie and say that, with his then dated longer hair style, grin, doe eyes, and some chest fuzz, Bruce Jenner didn't register as a fine looking male specimen with me, because he did.

    This is great news. My mom and sister while they are not exactly bigoted people were very uneasy about her showing off her body and that just shows you how far we still have to go to achieve fully equality and acceptance. She was just doing what anybody else would of done and if it was not a transgendered person they would of not complained. Very sad indeed.
