I doubt a trans student or citizen will ever cause a problem in a bathroom.

Tell the republican party that... there are some that believe that we are all out to molest children in bathrooms for some reason...

they are not worried about the actual trans molesting their children.

    Think about it.
maybe we better keep gay men out of the mens room, they might not be able to control themselves around the children.
keep lesbians out of the ladies room for the same reason.
bi? not sure, I mean, depending on how I feel on any given day I could be looking to molest either a male or female.
    trans? to confusing, hold it.
I really does get silly. But again, its not the actual trans that is the concern.

That maybe true in some respects but it sure does not come across that way.

I cant speak for the republicans, I can only speak for me. my concern in this matter has nothing to do with a fear of the trans.

I know, it was in another thread where I mentioned it.
thread got shut down too soon. There was a response to me that actually made sense, when I mentioned the chance of non trans pervs dressing like females to gain access, the response was, whats keeping them from doing it now.... Well, I don't know, I imagine that if they wanted to, they could, so my argument is not as strong coming out of the conversation as it was going in. I would have loved to discuss it more, because I still have some what ifs, and the person that responded may well have had the right responses.
This is how the thought process is changed in people.
    another day perhaps.

I would actually argue they aren't concerned about anyone molesting children. They are malicious, and their professed reasons for being concerned are direct lies.

well, my concerns are exactly as stated.
Im not worried about the trans, I actually like them, being bi they are like the best of both worlds to me. who can hate them?
but I think you might be right for at least some of them. No real concern, just don't want to look like they are giving in to the gay crowd. It will bite them in the end, don't worry.

I'm really looking forward to the day gendered bathrooms will occupy their place on history books. And I don't think I'm the only man here, 'cause some pigs need to learn it's not ok to be a pig 'cause we are all dudes here and to care about hygiene is girly'. Fuck that, and fuck them...

Even my coworkers agreed with me. To share bathrooms would do us all a lot of good, among other things it would put an end to such discussions, so we can focus on things like salaries.

Trans discrimination is deeply rooted on gender discrimination and this unhealthy obssesion with gender roles. I see gendered bathrooms as barbaric. If we eat together and have fun together... Let us shit together, okay?

not sure how you read it so I cant answer that.
but yes, to me they are great, I get the attitude and of a female or, personality to be more exact, but then if it reaches that point in the relationship, well, you know. So, for me a trans would be the ideal person to be in a relationship with.

Anyone can molest anyone in a bathroom, trans or not. Discrimination won't solve the problem.

there is also a comfort zone, however since womens restrooms dont have urinals, Im pretty sure that people seeing things they dont want to see is a low risk issue.

That might quell the fears of more reasonable people, but the people in charge...not so much.

I think it's a double-standard and sexist tbh. I use the men's bathroom in public places if the line in the ladies room is too long. Even when I'm not in my male persona. And no one has said anything to me. No male has complained that a female is in their bathroom. They don't say a female is in the bathroom to molest them. It's really a double-standard.

Laws forcing trans people to use their birth gender's bathroom is dangerous, it makes it possible for cisgender people to go into the opposite gender's bathroom without being noticed, allowing what it was meant to end.

Yet I wonder how many incidents in bathrooms were caused by cisgendered folks....hmmm. Let me guess....
