I'm nervous about this, but these quote has me more optimistic:

Hope that turns out well. The more states that legalize it, the better chance for action at the federal level.

I'll be sending good "equality vibes" to Iowa tomorrow!

Can someone tell me what happened? I am unable to watch the news right now and I would like to know what was decided.

  5. I'm not sure anything was decided, or if it will be for a while, but I can't find anything on it. Does anyone know? Please?

I read that it will be months before a decision is made. :frowning2:

  7. It's so frustrating :frowning2:

Iowa has both a good track record in civil rights, and a dominant traditional Protestant Christian background. I can't tel which is stronger right now. If only my generation could vote on it right now... I'm fairly certain we'd have it in the bag.

I hate to be a pessimist. But our federal court is pretty conservative right now. Obama's election may mend that in time, but I have this aching fear that if it went to the Supreme Court it might end up not being for the better

Looks like it is going to be awhile before they make a decision. Disappointing, but it will be worth it if we win.
