    There are going to end up being 20 candidates and they all split the vote between themselves from 1-10%, and there's going to be no clear primary winner at this rate. This would lead to an absolute shitshow of a national convention when it comes to delegates voting for the candidate.

    I was thinking the same thing. Plus, any number of them could pour millions into their campaigns in order to keep them 'alive', such that having no clear primary winner is an increasingly distinct possibility.
