    As above.

    I agree with the article, however I think he is rocking the spray tan. :lol:

    But yes. Lets just think about this for a second.

    Heterosexuals who don't wish to have kids or are unable (due to age/illness etc) have been allowed to marry for donkey's years. We are talking at least a couple of hundred years*. And yet society as we know it hasn't crumbled due to this.

    Add in the fact that the above non-child marriages were occurring in a population representing 90-97% of the population (depending on which statistics you read). Even if every single gay person coupled up and married tomorrow it is still likely there would be more childless hetero married couples than gay married couples.

    Additionally you have all those single and cohabiting hetero parents that have existed long before gay marriage was even on the cards for discussion.

    But alas, what do I know!

    *As prior to that people were expected to get married young and have kids/divorce was not allowed so second marriages were a no-go, and "elderly" marriages past female child-rearing age were obviously limited due to drastically lower life expectancies.

    The thing about folks like Santorum is they are just seeking attention, for whatever reason they want it. Some people do it for narcissism, others use it as a means to power, some as a means to money. No matter the reason, we as a society would be much better off if we started ignoring them and focused on issues that really matter.

    Wow, this guy really is fucking stupid. Haha
    So, if the only "right" way for someone to come up is being raised by a heterosexual couple, what about the kids who were raised by a single parent? I was raised by a single mom who has always been for equal rights and now I'm finding out I'm gay. No wonder I'm so fucked up. xD

    The problem is not stupidity. It's evil. Santorum, while not being a high intellect, is a person whose mental capacity is not at issue. It's his improper ethical stance.
