Things like this I find greatly disturbing. The sad thing is that he was simply 'suspended'. One wonders if this will be just another case of police brutality...it's sad that some of those meant to protect the public are brutalizing them in the most humiliating of ways.

When will people say, 'enough', and stand up to our current police state????

I'm starting to be in support of legislation that holds police, prosecutors, judges, etc. to higher standards and sentences if they are convicted of crimes. If you're a policeman and you use your authority to rape a woman at gunpoint, you should not see the light of day from outside a prison cell ever again.

And I can't get a job for the stupidest freaking reasons, yet lose out to people who are evil sons of guns.

It's shit like this that makes me question authority.

Don't get me wrong, there are people who become cops because they have a desire to help people and keep them safe, and I have the upmost respect for those people. Unfortunately, shitheads like this guy who use their authority to abuse aren't uncommon.

Couldn't agree more. This takes a special kind of evil, and the punishment should be servere.

    I know, sweetie :frowning2:

We just have to hold out our hope for and support for the humanist peace officers out there. There are some people trying to work inside the system to do the most good they can. I don't want to embitter them by having them think I don't have trust. :frowning2:

I don't happen to think that I personally can do much good in that role or any role as an authority. I've always had the more anarchist spirit, and I'd prefer to do operations on or around the boundaries of law.

At the end of the day, I have respect for someone who just wants to do the right thing and does so when it's inconvenient. That's how I'm even good friends with a prosecutor.
