If it succeeded in the Senate, it probably would of failed in the House. One reason we can't trust Republicans for anything.

Cannot wait to hear the reasoning used for not voting for this.

I'm waiting for the Bible thumping senators to say "it's against my faith to let children be happy and feel safe because I'm a closeted bigot".

So your misguided beliefs hold higher priority than hundreds of thousands of kids' sense of safety and security?

You know; the same safety and security that they were promised when actually abiding and going into the system...

This is what makes me scared of a republican being elected president next. They pretty much just legalized discrimination. It's one thing if there's one bigoted asshole, but for there to be this many? that got elected? :bang:

Homophobia Kills. And these assholes are just going to let it go on.

I mean obviously giving LGBT+ students more reasons to kill themselves will get you into Heaven, right?

"It might lead to law suits" WHAT THE FUCK!? Is that the best reason you can give, there is absolutely no reason to allow bullying, this is just senators who won't get down from their high horses and will block anything that mentions LGBT just for the fact it's LGBT.

So they basically voted for the bullying, physical and mental trauma, and the death of children who face so much bullying and discrimination that they feel like the only way out is suicide. These people are fucking evil. They think they are so godly, good people, but in reality they are the evil ones.

It's as if they can't even reflect on the matter and take different perspectives into consideration when deciding. Like Foz said they pretty much see the letters LGBT and like the sheep they are they instantly vote no without even thinking about "why?" or any of the consequences of their vote. :bang:
    .....
WHO THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE AND WHY DO THEY HAVE POWER? :tantrum:

I'm sure many of them will tell you about how great it was that they were bullied as it gave them something to overcome or such nonsense.

48 pro bullying senators...what a bunch of creepy monsters.

Well my senator Al Franken was a avid supporter of the bill and I mean can't we all agree that every human being deserves common decency and respect. You can disagree with homosexuality all you want but jeez protecting against bullying should be common sense. It is all politics. Their mindset might be well they choose to be gay so they choose to be bullied and that is just sad.

I'm usually able to get into head of people I disagree with, not to empathize, but just to understand.

There is no way I can understand this being rationalized on any level other than blatant discrimination.

    I'm disappointed.

OMG. All republicans. I don't like to generalize but it looks like republicans are ALWAYS against gay rights.

In fairness, there were a few on the good side.

But every one of the nays is a republican, and being anti gay will continue to be the safe position to power for those in "red states".

Man, those bigots' abuse of constitutional rights is getting old real fast. And yet if we exercise our freedom of speech, they try to ignore it or find some absurd excuse to 'justify' things like this. Reminds me of the crap Gavin Grimm got in that court case.
