    This is so great! I know this was news in December 2014 I just don't know if any of you guys knew about it! The story sounds pretty good! And omg Jude is ADORABLE! If that's what she will look like.. Just aw ♥

    I thought this was just an unconfirmed rumor? I really doubt that they would make it after all the backlash they got for daring to have a lesbian couple be the moms of one of the kids in one of their shows...

    All I can find is this, which reads as a fake - "Ellen Etheridge" is combining Ellen DeGeneres' and Melissa Etheridge's names, "Mary Lambert" is obvious, and the statement from the "parent" seems like a parody.

    I really really hope this is true but given that when I looked the movie up it was the only source I doubt it. And Is it just me or does Jude look incredibly like Anna except with Rapunzel's hairstyle?

    Right on, Disney! But, I thought they already had a gay princess (Elsa, anyone?) and if you want to also count the snow monster in, she was their first Trans princess.

    Disney women generally have the same face design, so probably. That could be pretty much any Disney preliminary designs.

    Sorry hun, but there's absolutely no way for that to be true.

    Disney is at the very LEAST a decade from having a main LGBT character who's open.

    I wish, though...

    I wish Disney would have a main LGBT protagonist that was open. Perhaps it could be their journey to realising their identity.

    Also is it just me or do Disney movies only have female protagonists now?.. It's probably just me.

    I'm inclined to believe this. Just seems like there's be too much backlash my ignorant parents and it isn't worth doing from a monetary standpoint. Especially when they can just make another straight princess and get no negative publicity for it.

    I really hope one day they can do something like that though, that'll be a pretty good day.

    Sincerely doubt it. None of the announced Disney movies at the moment features a lesbian princess and they all have titles.

    The source provided, Empire News, is a joke site. It claims in their About section: "Empire News is intended for entertainment purposes only. Our website and social media content uses only fictional names, except in cases of public figure and celebrity parody or satirization." So it looks like it will be a long time before an LGBT princess.

    This jude character looks like Elsa's sister from frozen. In my opinion.
    Cool! I hope that this might make the idea of homosexuality less weird to kids, meaning less darned homohobes in he world!... Well that's the theory, I guess... Whether it'll play out like this in real life I dunno.
