I was pleased to open an email from Evan Greer from Fight for the Future, informing me that Chelsea is not going to solitary confinement. Just so you folks know, she was to be brought before a disciplinary board and denied access to the legal library as well as counsel.

I am no fan of Ms. Manning, I believe her to be a traitor who put American troops at risk even if she did release information that should not have been covered up (I have a similar distaste of Snowden); but good for her I guess.

You're welcome to disagree with what she did and to agree with the legal system. But I find it interesting that you're not given any pause by the prospect of her potentially going to solitary confinement while being denied due process.

That's obviously wrong, I'll agree - everyone does deserve due process; just adding that I wasn't a big fan of her and think that she deserves her time in jail.

And then being very lukewarm about that particular injustice not occurring. "Good for her, I guess."

I'm very lukewarm towards these sorts of things in general, I have many unconventional beliefs, but I did mean it when I said good for her; since it is good for her.

I couldn't care less if he's trans, what he did was commit treason and endanger the lives of many. He deserves nothing less than the chair.

Got several problems with this post, but I have no nice way to put it in words, so I will just leave that aside and just ask: No matter what a person did, shouldn't we, as human beings, at the least allow them the dignity to be referred with something conforming to their identity?
