Well, can you imagine how things must have sucked for her deputies who know she's batshit and wanted to comply with the law???

No, SHE is the bully for not allowing the deputy clerks to process the marriage licenses. She is imposing her religious beliefs onto others.

Despite the issuing of the licenses on Friday, the deep chasm over the issue remained. Standing in front of the courthouse was Mike Reynolds, an Army veteran who said that while gay-rights advocates might have won the battle, opponents would win the war.

Mr. Reynolds, 36, had a patch on his leather vest for his service in Afghanistan, as well as a Confederate flag patch. His ball cap proclaimed his love for Jesus.


That makes perfect sense, Jesus would've definitely supported a flag for a people who supported slavery. :rolle:

It really irks me when someone thinks that because they are a veteran that somehow their opinion is more worthy than someone who isn't. My former SO served in Iraq, and my current one served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and neither of them were/are homophobes. Besides, who are the Taliban? A bunch of religious fundamentalist extremists who want to impose their beliefs onto others.

So what is this guy? A religious fundamentalist extremist who wants to impose his belief onto others. The only difference is he and his kind aren't being violent about it, but the mindset is still the same.
