http://www.newsweek.com/id/177723?GT1=43002 As usual, the comments section is both depressing and amusing. Why do some Christians feel like typing things in ALL CAPS will make it more holy or impressive? Even more outrageous than the blatant stereotype comments are the ones that complain "Waa, what about straight people who wouldn't want to shower with gay people?!?" First of all, that's our problem? Second, it's about time they realized that just like how they're not instantly attracted to every woman they see, gay guys are not going to suddenly latch on to and start flirting with every straight guy they meet. We already have enough dignity and respect for that, it's them with the control issues.
Something else about the comments - they already do shower and sleep and shoot and kill alongside gay people. It's just a matter of knowing who.
The person who made that last comment you quoted needs to be taken outside and shot. Stupid Christians....
I read a lot of things like this and frequently comment on it. The last comment was, indeed, over the top. People like that never practice what they preach. And..there is NO reasoning with them,I have tried. They worry about gay people, yet think nothing of spewing their hate among other human beings. The worst part,is they do it in the name of God.Won't they be surprised when most of their opinions will come back to haunt them, one day.Don't waste a thought on people such as this,it's not worth it.
