    Take a close look everyone. This guy speaks for a huge chunk of the Republican Party.

    Yes, Ben. Everything is just so gosh darn confusing, so Jesus did it! Now, that makes it true, doesn't it? Isn't it just a fact of nature that which is simple must therefore also be true?

    I could not imagine allowing this idiot to operate on my brain. My IQ has already dropped 10 points just by listening to him speak.

    He's a political tool. I waited to see whether or not he was actually a decent candidate, but he's actually one of the worst ones out there. No experience, says what the party wants him to say, was actually not a very good neurosurgeon, puts religion before politics, need I say more?

    I care whether or not our President believes in scientific theories and facts such as evolution and climate change. I believe a President that believes in science is essential for that President to help out their country. Climate change is going to be one of the biggest problems the world will face by 2030, and it's important the President believes in science so that Florida and other lower lying coastal regions don't go underwater. Even the conservative hero Ronald Reagan believed in climate change.

    In fairness to him, he's not the first smartest guy in the room to believe in crazy nonsense. Even Isaac Newton was a biblical literalist and thought there was something in alchemy.

    Well, in fairness, I think we can at least hold off until AFTER Florida is underwater. We just have to spread the rumor that Jesus is on his way back, and that he sent angels ahead to let everyone know that if they want to be raptured up to heaven they need to be in Florida. Then we need to secretly steal all the boats and quickly build a fence.

    As the water rushes in they'll likely think it's God flooding the Earth again, and that they weren't one of the lucky ones to be sucked up by the rapture. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Wait? He's the doctor right? I mean it must have taken some serious belief preservation skills to see all the evidence of evolution as you study biology and the medicine -- even seeing how viruses evolve each year to cause new strains of the flu -- to deny evolution at this point.

    Turning someone's personal beliefs into a political point is silly, when they have nothing to do with how he wants to lead this country or what policies he intends to implement (should he be elected).

    This is just the media getting people riled up because - gasp - Ben Carson is a Creationist.
