Just a challenge to my fellow Canadians to go and vote tomorrow. The polls are open from 8am to 8pm and there is a voting station not far from you. However you vote, get out and exercise your right to vote which is such an important part of democracy. Many people across the world would die for the right to vote. Come on. No excuses! Just do it!

We had a big thread last week talking about the election and all I have to say is that it's quite hard to get excited about voting when all three candidates are clowns. Harper is same old, same old. Justin Trudeau is full of it with his bogus platform. Thomas Mulcair lies like there's no tomorrow.... The only decent party is the green party but we can't vote for them, that's like wasting a vote.

As much as I think Justin Trudeau is a daddy's boy and a slimy politician, if I got a vote, I'd cast my ballot for the Liberal Party. My boyfriend is from Canada, and though he's strictly non-political, he hates Stephen Harper.

Justin Trudeau is the best option compared to any of the others. We need Stephen Harper out of the ring as quickly as possible. He just wants to make the rich, richer and the poor, poorer

I'm fairly certain Trudeau will become our next PM but I'm quite sure Canadians will regret it in the long run.

I think the best we can hope for at this point is a minority government... but that means another (expensive and disruptive) general election within a year likely...

As long as Harper doesn't get it, I'll be happy. But I'll be happier with Tom Mulcair in.

Yep, go out and vote!

3.6 million eligible voters have already voted, and it looks like that Elections Canada is bracing for a higher than expected turnout. Personally, I'm hoping that Canadians go out and vote and let their voice be heard.

I'm hoping to wake up tomorrow to a new PM!

    Harper's a dirtbag (I'm being polite).
    Mulcair creeps me outx100.
Trudeau is not the greatest but definitely not the worst, so here's hoping?
    God, May, if only. :frowning2:

Poor Trudeau, with his CV he's barely qualified to flip burgers at McDonald's, let alone run a country. lmao

I've met Trudeau, and talked with him in a small group of people for probably an hour or so. I can say first hand, not only is this quote true, but he might be the most arrogant person I've ever met in my life. It's a shame the Liberals could have had a brilliant man like Marc Garneau lead them, and instead they took the guy with the last name....

Voted earlier. Hopefully this is the last time I try to vote Harper out of office...

Voted, as long as the Liberals or Conservatives don't get in I'll be happy.
