Hurricane Patricia makes landfall in Mexico - BBC News Mexico was hit by a Category Five hurricane today. It formed quickly, so there wasn't time to adequately prepare. There's not much information yet on the damage, but it sounds like it will be severe.
The Westboro Baptist Church will find any reason it can to condemn any place/person/organization/group it can. This doesn't really doesn't change their mind at all. On another note, I hope everyone there is okay. A storm this strong will almost always result in severe damage and deaths.

Apparently this is one of the strongest storms they've ever recorded. My heart goes out to anyone in Mexico having to live through this right now.
This is a very big storm. It started raining in Central Texas THursday night, and hasn't stopped since last night. I can't imagine what it is like where it came ashore. From what I head it came ashore in an unpopulated area, so hopefully the damge won't be too bad.
I had a dream last night it was coming straight for Arizona and it started getting super windy and clouds started rolling in and then everything in my back yard was stacked up on each other and then it looked like the pile was going to fall right on my house.
