I can't boycott Starbucks, because my town fucking sucks, and all the local coffee shops close at 5:30.

There's two Starbucks in my area within 200 feet of each other. Both are always busy. Yea, we can't go without it. I actually went today just so I can get one of those cups. Starbucks should thank these right-wing nuts. It's some of the best advertising ever!

Btw, the Trump Tower in Chicago is an eye sore.

I took this picture about a month ago. You're welcome.

I am very glad for two things. The first is that Starbucks isn't popular here. The second is that Trump is not here.

Also, why does he find it valuable to engage in such pathetically unimportant aspects of the culture wars? Is there anyone who matters, who either believes that everyone should say "merry Christmas" or thinks Trump would actually make people say it?

Honestly, I dont see why people get offended about the word "christmas" to begin with. At this point, its not even a religious holiday. It can be, but you can make it your own purpose.

Starbucks said earlier that it had removed "symbols of the season" used in the past, which have included reindeer and ornaments, in favor of a simple, two-toned red cup. Some Christian leaders have long attacked secular businesses for waging a "War on Christmas" and prevented customers and employees from sharing Christmas greetings.

What has reindeer got to do with Christ? I actually agree with Trump on the
I don't care part, although probably for a different reason. I think that when Trump says, "When I'm president," blah blah, he's just saying whatever he thinks plays well to the ignorant.

I'm just convinced at this point that Trump is running for President for the lulz, and he's trying to be a troll.

That's best option, right guys? To throw snarky comments at Donald Trump.

Anyway, this whole Starbucks situation is laughable.

Sounds just like my hometown. If one Starbucks is crowded I just have to walk down the street a little. I did like the snowflakes on the original cup though. But it's just a goddamned cup. Frankly I'm more offended about the prices.

If the United States population majority is truly stupid enough to put Trump in charge of running the country, I'm jumping the Canadian border Solid Snake style.

If somebody has that much cash, and can't even afford a decent hair stylist, or even a wig for that matter... You know, how would he take care of an entire country if he can't take care of his own head?

This is kind-of funny, and kind-of just pathetic. It's a red cup. Get over it, jeez. It's a pretty red cup at that. <3

He knows he doesn't actually own those buildings, right? He just gets paid to put his name on them >.>

And of course he would jump on this since he has no real political stances and thus nothing to talk about... smdh

My sister and I collect their yearly ornaments that are versions of their red cups and can attest every year is different and this year they just happened to be minimalistic. That said, it's funny how Republicans claim Democrats try stir the pot with race and income when they also stir the damn pot with religion et al.

The scariest part is Trump saying that if he's president everyone will say "Merry Christmas." If you're president, Starbucks will have a red Christmas cup? Way to say you support completely free markets and then turn around and try to impose your views on the private sector using the government pulpit. Why not ban stores opening on Black Friday so people can spend the holiday with their family? Why not bad Christmas shopping since Jesus is the reason for the season and not the latest toy? Platitudes.

And to think this man could be President. Well, it will certainly make for a entertaining few years. Absolutely terrifying, but not boring.

It's not the worst skyscraper, but it is pretty bland.

I must say I love the Trump Tower in New York with the trees:

    http://thefamilyleadershipsummit.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Trump-Tower_New-York_1.jpg

And when it snows: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/90/Trump-Tower-2.jpg Beautifully elegant. :eusa_clap

Probably the only positive thing to come from the man! That and giving us The Apprentice which is wonderfully watchable rubbish TV.

Incidentally on the UK version of The Apprentice they pretend the boss (Alan Sugar) has offices in One Canada Square, London (a hideously ugly building, but prestigious nonetheless). His actual offices are a tiny, dingy old building in Essex. Brilliant.

Starbucks is expensive anyway. If Trump boycotts Starbucks, well, Dunking Donuts is two mile away, and Tim Hortins is five. XD

Agreed on Starbucks, and I wish Trump wasn't 'here'. Only recently have a few Starbucks popped up here, and they face very stiff competition from a LOT of local, independent places with better coffee, and a better atmosphere.

I think Trump is starting to seriously flounder, and he's just searching for whatever angles he can find.

Though the seriously scary thing is that the other leading candidates are MUCH more socially conservative and extreme: Carson, Rubio, Cruz. It's not a pretty picture. Trump is more an opportunist and blowhard than a true, Bible-thumping social conservative. Compared to Carson, Trump looks like Einstein, and a nobel prize laureate. (Not that I will ever vote for Donald Trump) But the true terror lies in a Cruz or Carson.

After months of research and experiments, I have come to the conclusion, that me, a fourteen year old gay trans boy, would make a better president than Trump.
