Hahaha he has already forgotten the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed another Alabama probate judge's appeal to not issue same-sex marriages as moot given the Supreme Court's ruling. Until he complies, we should just call him the Analbama Supreme Court Chief Justice.
It's amazing, that with all the strife, war, famine and suffering in the world, this man finds time to be bothered over a few gay people getting married.
Roy Moore is basically Antonin Scalia on steroids-no check that, the love child of Antonin Scalia on steroids and Mike Huckabee. They both just make rulings based on their own ideology and the Constitution doesn't matter. If he knew anything about the US Constitution and the separation of powers he loves to talk about ad nauseam, he'd know that the US Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land (Article VI, clause II of the United States Constitution) and that federal court decisions trump both federal law and state law any day of the week. This is why the term "constitutional conservative" is the biggest oxymoron ever concocted.

I'm not well versed with that laws of USA, but shouldn't that be grounds for ousting him out of his seat?

If the law is no longer in line with his deeply held belief and he regards the law as less important than his faith, then the honourable thing to do is to step down. He doesn't actually link the points he's making together: The Constitution grants him freedom of conscience. His God defines his conscience for him. Therefore God is more important than the law. But he draws no link between his belief in God and his right to define his duties as a judge by that belief, confusedly using one law as the justification for denigrating other laws. And not only is he misinterpreting law, he simultaneously relying on the argument that God is more important than law, but the right for God to supersede law is defined by law. He would surely be able to rely on God alone if he truly believed so.
Re: Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore: Laws Are Superseded By God Apparently he must've forgotten about the amendments to the Constitution he holds so dear, such as, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; Just because the majority of people in the US identify as Christian, that doesn't make the US legally a "Christian Nation" for the same reason we wouldn't be following Sharia law if someday 51% of the people were Muslim.

If Roy Moore thinks that Obergefell only applies to the sixth circuit, he clearly hasn't even read the decision. Page 5 of the syllabus states, The bigots tried this argument in the Florida case, claiming the decision only applied to Hillsborough County and not the entire state. Sorry, but that's not how our system works.
