Good, and I see they got his brother, too, and several more surrendered. It's past time to put an end to this terrorist siege; the people who live in the area are sick of it, and rightly so. When you occupy federal property, and threaten to kill people, that's not peaceful protest, it's terrorism. Overall, one wounded and one dead is not the worst outcome, given what might have happened, but I think there's still some others holed up at the center. What's stupid, is how the right is going to try to make a hero out of the guy who died. But if you go waving about a high-powered fire-arm in a federal building, what do you expect? Cookies and milk? Black kids have been shot on sight for toy guns and BB guns, so if they think this guy is some kind of martyr, they've got rocks in their head.

They talk about not wanting another Waco, but by not dealing with them sooner, this only emboldens these far-right lunatics and encourages these kinds of shenanigans. I still say they should have shown up with a SWAT team and dealt with them swiftly and ruthlessly.
