    I get the point you're trying to make, but a nine year old might not be the best way to prove Trump's mature, diverse support base.

    It was mostly for comedic effect. Since when does a 9-year old get that excited to meet a politician? She only got the publicity because it was filmed but even in his rallies you see people of all ages, blacks, latinos, other minorities of all kinds. And most of them are pretty loud, but I'd say that is an American-trait.

    Obviously her parents have forced their political beliefs unto her. What nine year old would have such a strong reaction to a political figure or to politics in general? It's sad.

    Ah no, I just think that "Big meanie Trump scares little girl away" makes for more entertaining news :lol:
    I wouldn't read into it too much. Kids at that age are crazy about all sorts of things, Donald is just one of the things. When I was 9, I worshiped a politician too. I'd have squealed had I met him. Things changed. But back then, we didn't have social media to make some girls' antics sensational news. She would be so embarrassed when she grows up :lol:

    Really? When I was 9 I had no idea what politics was and didn't know one from a guy on the street. All my idols were fictional characters in books
