    I'm disappointed in my state for this, though we do rank poorly in terms of trans health care across the board for the most part.

    Sadly, there are many prisons that try to refuse hormonal treatments to transgender people. I hope that we see an increase in people that are willing to go after the prisons that do not provide medical care for cruel and unusual punishment. I think then we will see less of these kinds of stories, since they wI'll be punished if they do not provide treatment.

    Firstly, stuffing a guy in a women's correctional facility is a bad idea from the start. Then they pull this. Heck, it's not even the first time. I wonder how many time they'll do it until they learn their lesson, several people have died from this sort of thing.
