    There was another horrific mass shooting today, and in my home state of Michigan, in Kalamazoo. We need to get these crazy guns under control. And, the guy was an Uber driver, who used to be known to shoot guns into the air, from his back door. Why would they let him own a gun, or be an Uber driver? It's quite sad; among the 6 killed were a father and son, and a 14 year old girl is in critical condition. Mean old white guy is the suspect; looks crazy. When will Americans stand up to the NRA and these gun loons????

    I'm certainly not counting on Trump, Cruz, Rubio or any of the Republicans to do a thing about it, that's for sure. We need better background checks, and stricter rules; enough is enough.

    I frantically called my boyfriend as soon as I woke up and heard the news. Thankfully neither he nor my relatives who live in Kalamazoo were anywhere near the shootings.

    Despite the frequency of violence in this country, they're going to continue to pretend they're handling it perfectly. Because you know, since when are the lives of innocent people more important than admitting you're wrong? Ugh.

    I haven't heard anything yet, but I hope she'll make a recovery, and she and all the victims and their friends and family are in my thoughts. This is all just so sad; I'm caught between wanting to cry, and wanting to scream, between sorrow and anger.

    Three incidents, two at each scene it looks like. I'm not against guns, I'm against giving them to people who are obviously going to go insane and pull this kind of crap.

    That said, you know what my Dad would say? He'd probably say "Oh, if everybody had a gun, then this never would have happened!" I super don't agree with that sentiment.

    I bet the suspect in question is a cop/ex-cop or a guy who couldn't get into a police academy. Police all over America are systemically losing their minds for no reason.
