    A few people
    University of Puget Sound, a Tacoma, WA university, has just appointed a new president to take office this summer. Interestingly, it seems he is gay, as mentioned in a local newspaper article:

    That's nice :slight_smile: . Gay people are all over the place and eventually people will realize it and maybe stop their unnecessary bigoted habits. (Let's be real here though we can always lessen it, but we can't get rid of it. I mean even racism is still around i.e. Trump).

    Yay for good news! Hopefully it keeps coming!

    One of my friends went to UPS. Loved it, super liberal school, so it makes sense that they'd be OK with hiring an openly gay man to lead the school.

    It will probably be quite a few years before we see an openly gay president of Falwell's Liberty University, or Bob Jones University. :slight_smile:
