^_^ YUSH! It's good they're getting sued- A bill like that shouldn't have ever been passed into law.

He quite rightly sees when a putrid law is indefensible. Saves a ton of money when there is no contest.

I'm sure the Republicans feel so strongly about this bill that they'll pay for outside counsel out of their own pockets :eusa_liar

Nice to see North Carolina has at least a few sane elected officials.

McCrory's actually tried to defend the bill via the medium of YouTube, so something is bound to go wrong -

What he's done is shot himself in the foot...repeatedly...again.

So what's next? Republicans throw a huge hissy fit and ask for an intervenor?

    Presumably.

Nice to some sane officials in North Carolina. But they'll just hire another attorney instead.

Oh well. Let's hope the suing goes well. This shouldn't have been put into law anyway.

Either Republicans and the Gov discover sanity and repeal the law or they use taxpayer money to bring in outside counsel to defend them in court.

So, not only are LGBT taxpayers being expected to pay for the session that codified discrimination and demonisation into law, they're likely going to have to foot the bill for defending it in court!

I love that Republican principles on anti gay discrimination...sorry, protecting Christians from persecution don't extend to paying for it themselves.
