'Bryan Adams has cancelled a concert in Mississippi over the US state's new controversial religious liberty law.'

    I see a trend starting.:icon_bigg

Serves Phil Bryant and his fellow zealots right for thinking this is the Summer of '69

Those with the cisgendered and straight priviledge are the ones that have to push to get things changed. I am glad to see that it is happening. Us LGBT peeps can only do so much, people have to see that other people like them won't put up with the crap. Unfortunately my state of Michigan, is also considering a bill against as well. So, I hope everyone boycotts the hell out of us.

Hopefully more people will do exactly the same.

I think this the start of a tactic that worked very well in getting of South Africa’s apartheid system.

    Let's keep it up.

Maybe. If a few more hundred artists do it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

This is good, though. Make a stand, let people know that discrimination is not OK.
Would suck for people waiting for that concert, though.

I think it is wonderful that several artists are doing this. People that use their limelight to positively try and change things, that is what is needed. Sad to say, if the concept of human decency isn't enough for these bigots to reconsider, I'm sure the lost revenue from such events has to at least cross their minds.

I love hearing about companies, celebrities, and everyday citizens boycotting these messed up people. They aren't just ignoring it, they are taking a stand.

I already liked Byron Adams' music before this. Now I like Adams' as a person.
