His words are hollow. Just because you wouldn't sign a discriminatory bill doesn't make your moral position worth listening to. First, he didn't acknowledge the pain of transgender people in any way. Second, he's still validating the basic position of people who want these laws in the first place. Third, the law doesn't even have to be passed: its mere discussion in the state legislature lets the transgender community know they are hunted and hated by the majority. The people of the state are letting their moral degeneracy be known regardless.

At least he's not Trump or Cruz, those two nutjobs would probably try to make it law nationwide. He's still a Republican but I feel like he would do minimal damage compared to the other "options" in place.

Better than Trump and Cruz. Although I disagree with his policies, he's atleast not insane like the rest of the GOP is becoming. He's also the only Republican candidate who doesn't want to undo the same-sex marriage ruling, so at least there's that.

I agree totally with what you are saying. He is still a Republican so a part of me does not trust him but at least he has some compassion for our community.

All candidates suck. Just which serves my needs best is the question. Not republicans.

Yeah I don't believe Kasich for a second. The only reason he looks like a "moderate" is the fact that he's running against Cruz and Trump.

Well, I will say that Kasich is the only Republican I could probably live with being president without wanting to either jump off a bridge or run away to Canada. But that's really not saying much. Give me a Democrat or a Green Party.

Not shocked that another Republican dipshit wants to chime in on how much of a boner he has for his religion and oppressing minorities.

Even my mother said McCrory went too far.

    MY. MOTHER.

You can't even say the word gay in my house, and my mother is even siding with us this time.....

THAT my friends is how you know this is ridiculous.

Even though I don't think Kasich would make a good President and disagree with most of his positions, I can at least respect him because he's not a fanatic like Ted Cruz or Mike Huckabee.
