As a person who grew up around jehovahs witnesses this does not surprise me. The other videos of Caleb and his sister are also "interesting."

 

Here they go again... I don't understand why the majority of humanity succumbs to stuff like this. Agh.

They've been doing videos like this for a while, it's a shame their views aren't improving like their animation.

So the little girl is told to talk to the other girl with the two mums about what she's learned. How would that go exactly? This girl with two mums... she's called Keri/Kerry or something like that right? Whatever, I'm calling her that. So this other girl with the pigtails, the woman wants her to go up to Kerry and tell her that people can change? Are they implying that Kerry was in the wrong for drawing her mums? Do they want Kerry to tell her parents that? Do they want Kerry to disown her parents? (the irony). Well, I mean she can't really disown her parents but you know what I mean...

Do they want Kerry to try and change their parents? Do they want Kerry to try and get her parents to separate? Do they blame Kerry for liking her parents? Do they think that Kerry is brainwashed by the "gay agenda" and needs to be "saved"? What if Kerry took this other girl's advice?

Mum 1: How was your day at school sweetie?

Kerry: Mum, people can change. You can be with a man now, if you really try.

Mum 1: Excuse me?

Kerry: *name of other girl* told me that gay people don't go to paradise, and that you're unhappy because of your lifestyle.

Mum 1: ... I think we need to talk to the head teacher about some of the attitudes at this school.

Wait, was the woman at the end the headteacher as well as the pigtail girl's mum? If she runs the school than why did she allow Kerry into the school in the first place? I guess it makes more sense to assume that she's just the pigtail girl's mother then.

 

Oof. Embarrassing, cringe-worthy, and offensive all in one. Sounds like my kind of film!

Religions in America are desperate. They truly view acceptance of LGBT as their sworn enemy and what will lead to their ultimate death. Of course what it will really lead to is an end of their dominance in dictating the social mores of the country, which I consider a good thing. Instead of trying to attract more people to their faith, religious groups would rather alienate people by attacking LGBT people. They are only digging their own graves.

I feel bad for the kids they indoctrinate. Especially any LGBT kids.

 

I was raised a JW, too, and I almost blew up watching this. It was bad enough being a JW kid back when they weren't coming out with shit like this. Now they are directly targeting and pushing their propaganda on kids.

In the interests of not getting myself banned, I'm just going to stop talking. Not sure what else I can say while keeping it PG-13; this just made me want to explode.
