The Massachusetts Senate passed an extension of transgender protections bill

Some good news for a change. The Massachusetts Senate passed a transgender equality bill that increases protections for transgender people concerning public accomodations. (Mass. Already has anti discrimination laws in place.) It still needs to be signed in by the governor who is a moderate republican but he has given signs that he would support the bill in the past.

I've already given up hope for the country, but if this passes and the other states follow behind on the path to sanity, I might be forced to reconsider.

I highly doubt it will, but I'd love to be wrong. Please let me be wrong...
