LGBT News Hersheypark: Visitors can use bathrooms based on their gender identity

Positive news is always a welcome change, it's nice to know common sense isn't shunned everywhere in this country.

I'm hoping things like this will become more frequent, it might encourage others to drop their earplugs and hear us out.

 

Or make more idiots go into bathrooms that don't make their own identity to "prove" a point, like at Target. :bang:

Anyway, this is good! Always good to see shards of Sanity in the cess pool. I just hope the backlash against Hershey Park isn't too bad.

 

Pennsylvania becoming more progressive right after I leave. At least California is also pretty good for rainbow souls.

 

Why is this suddenly an issue anyway. How did transgender people use the bathroom before? I assume it wouldn't be any different than today....

 

I have no clue. I guess we're just the flavor of the week, and it's pretty goddamn sad.

But hey, at least I have an excuse to go back to Hershey Park aside from getting in the front row of Great Bear.

 

It's just now people have the to "approve" or "disapprove" what restroom we should use. I don't care what the law says, when I'm out and on T I'm going to the men's room. It isn't like you have to get a genital inspection prior to entrance, unless of course the bigots of NC decide that is the godly thing to do.

 

Yeah. All the more strange that the emphasis is on saving the children. Like aren't there laws making assault/kidnapping/whatever illegal already? Why make another law?

Anyways, it's good news. If people want to boycott Hersheypark, then perhaps people won't have to worry about idiots running around there
