I hope nothing bad happens

 

The Prime Minister's going this year, secruity will already have been increased and with this everyone's gonna be on alert. That's hopefully more than enough of a deterrate but if it's not, there's still going to be a metric fuckton of personnel at Pride. And it's a lot harder to get a gun in Canada, so it's not like someone who got 'inspired' last week will be able to get a gun before the end of the month. Not saying there isn't a threat, but I trust the authorities' judgement on this.

Try not to worry and go have fun! I love TO Pride. Can't wait to go next year with my sister!

 

Even in Canada now... Hopefully this is the sort of thing that can be put down before it takes action.

I'm honestly getting a little worried at this point that someone may be inspired by Omar Mateen and there could be a serious attack against a pride parade in a major U.S. city. I am still intent on going to SF pride, but I will be concerned for people's safety the whole time (there and around the nation).

 

I went to LA and Columbus pride, haters can suck it.

Maybe next year I'll journey to Canada for pride! Been all over for it, got Columbus, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland last year. Been to NYC, Philly, and Chicago too. Wooots.

 

I'm hoping to attend this year. It will be my first time properly going. I'd like to think that nothing will happen, but it is still concerning.
