I'm always going to be a Cancer-Leo (mostly a Leo). It's the most accurate one for me anyway.

This happened several years ago... I taught this in a Boy Scout astronomy class a a summer camp in 2013.

Well, that still leaves me a Pisces, so I guess I'm just fine.
Still going to igore this 'new sign' forever tho, no more change NASA, plz...
    ...
Just looking at all the new dates for my friends and family and checking the traits of each sign... and all of their new reassigned signs suit them still, and, yet, their previous ones also fit them perfectly....
I'm not the only one who finds that suspicious, right?
This whole change might just end up proving that astrology is likely bullshit, honestly.

No. No. NASA didn't do shit. Cosmo claimed NASA changed the signs, but they didn't. That's astrology and NASA literally couldn't give less of a shit about which sign people are and what that may or may not say about their personality.

    ^this

Look, at least once a year this bullshit circles around but nothing changes.

The signs stay the same. The dates stay the same. I am still a capricorn and that will not change.

From my understanding, people born before a certain date will have the same signs. Only if they were born after would they change for them.

Doesn't matter to me. I'm still a Leo either way.

The Babylonians found the 13th zodiac constellation at the same time as other 12. They just didn't have space on their 12 months calendar.

Yea and they conveniently forgot about it, then how can they claim zodiac is accurate? That's my question.

For those that care about astrology, having a 13th sign move around is not going to change your actual zodiac sign UNLESS you were literally born the exact time this change happened.

Astrology provides more than just your base sun sign. I'm a virgo with a libra moon, but someone who has my exact birthday on a different year will not be a libra moon, since moon signs change every two days. That doesn't mean I can't be what I am just because those signs change every now and then. I will forever be what I was on my birth date as you can not change this.

The point of this change is that the earth's axis has wobbled over the last 2000 years. This change didn't happen the last couple of decades when you were born--it has happened over a period of two millennia. All NASA did was point this fact out in some kid's page or something, but other organizations have pointed this out plenty of times in the past, it just never catched on.

So if you wanna get technical, your sign might be different from what you think, except nobody bothered to tell you until now. You assume your sign based on the calendar, but if somebody versed in astrology would've actually CHECKED which sign you were under as you were born, they might've claimed otherwise.

It already happened in like the 70's or 80's. Whenever 2012 was according to the Mayan calendar.
