    Actually Iowa is pretty liberal, judging by previous elections. It is nice to see that a state not on the coast did this, though!

    Now that Iowa approved it (by unanimous vote at that!) the rest of the states will slowly start to as well :slight_smile:

    This is the final nail in the coffin of these homophobic laws. Once Iowa of all places has gay marriage but California does not? That shows you times are changing!

    I have read an overview of the decision, and one thing stood out to me:

    Basicly, the Court said that being gay isn't a choice. Which I would think is a pretty big thing.
