    According to the Guardian. Really sad to see that even in one of the most "developed countries" such bs is going on. It's a shame.

    The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are different from England, Scotland and Wales because they are very religious. ROI in particular is largely Catholic so there is a near-total ban on abortion. They had similar issues with gay marriage, although Ireland legalised it recently after a referendum, and Northern Ireland might end up legalising it soon.

    Might be the best if Northern Ireland breaks away from the UK and joins Ireland. They are in urgent need of modernism/liberalism.
