Someone should tell them this isn't the 1950s anymore.

This is saddening to hear coming from my home state. It was also disappointing to know that there is legislation in TN which prevents transgender people -specifically- from amending the sex on their birth certificate.

    It's a damn shame.

    More like "Tenna-don't-see-what-the-fuck-they're-doing-wrong-here"

That was lame. But this bill surpasses even my jokes in lameness.

I propose we get even. Lets make a minimum IQ standard to have a spot in any political office.

We should have that anyway. It would have prevented the current "president" from even running.

And to think, my grandmother wants to move us to a Small Town in this 3rd world uneducated state.

I was ok with the move, until now.

I think id rather die in the California desert.

What a waste of time and money! Stupid people vote for these fools. What problem do they claim this fixes? Whatever they claim, they'll be lying as usual. Once again, if you have to lie and deceive to "win" you are wrong and will ultimately lose, after wasting a bunch of time and money. I thought republicans were about fiscal responsibility, nope, another lie as proven by this and similar wasteful, hateful bills.

  9. Sometimes I think that I have it bad, but then I remember all the LGBT people that live in the south. When I was a little kid my family almost moved to Texas. It would have been...interesting...there for me. Hey, at least I might have been better at Spanish XD.

Isn't it considered unconstitutional at this point to give straight couples different rights than gay couples?

Besides, in what world is it a good idea to turn away potential adoptive parents if they haven't proven themselves to be bad parents? We have way too many kids who need a home. The more options we have, the better.

I read the bill, and it doesn't even make sense.

Another reason to add to my list of 'why I'm beginning to not like this country'.

Someone should show them the studies that have found gay parents to raise equally or more well-adjusted, healthy kids.

Where are these studies? I'd like to see them myself.

Also, didn't TN try to pass a bill making teachers out students to their parents?
