    Be very careful about opening any email attachments at the moment. There is a fast spreading ransomeware virus going around at lightning speed locking computer files and demanding ransome payments.
    The UKs NHS was the first be reported as being hit, but it then emerged as affecting Europe, and is now rapidly going global.

    My hometown was hit by a ransomware attack a few months ago. It took them down for about 3 weeks. It almost made my dad not be able to get the marriage liscense that he needed for hos wedding. It was crazy.

    Thankfully stuff like Cryptolock have been contained, or largely contained, so it can't hurt or affect as many people as it once did. Be careful, everyone.

    Just heard about the WannaCry ransomware through Barnacles. It's some scary shit, especially since it's the NSA's fault this happened--no shocker there. If you use Windows, check to see if you have any new updates and take care of them, as well as backup all your files on an external hard drive that's not connected to your computer. I've heard how bad this is fucking people, and it's super messed up.
