    That's definitely what will happen.
I do that already without them honoring Harvey Milk.

I don't feel that he accomplished enough to have a day dedicated to him.

If they'd want to, though, I won't object. But what they say the outcome will be is completely closed-minded. But them right-wing conservatives is crazy.

You know what's sad? Homophobia is still so rampant in this country.
I live in Mass. We were the first to allow gay marriage. Did the state fall apart? No!
Did it do anyone any harm? No! Does it change anyone else's marriage? No!
Other states need to learn by example. Thankfully,we now have 6 states allowing gay marriage.( for now,Maine looks shaky). It's a start.
Reading things like that just makes me so angry, though. I can't believe people actually believe what they write. How can one be so uptight and close-minded? And hateful.
We're winning the battle. (little by little) but I think we're in for one hell of a war. Sad.

Harvey Milk will be remembered, long after most bigots are dead. Thank God!

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
    --Franklin D. Roosevelt

These words are just as true today as they were in 1933. Yet we fear any change that comes our way and presume only the worst possible outcomes. There are groups that prey on these fears and use them to recruit people to their causes. They present themselves as the savior of humanity, but in fact they will lead us to stagnation and our eventual demise.

I love being told I am a predator who has a agenda of molesting and raping all the little children, and I love it because it reminds me that the people who say that are the ones who always get arrested for raping and molesting the children in their churches... It is sad and reprehensable that they do rape theiryounger congregants, but it only goes to show that the true cause of pedophilia is not homosexuality... its hypocritical crimianls who hide behind the bible so they can blame everyone else for their actions.

Tell me how that's a bad thing...or even new.
I know how to prevent mock gay weddings!
I know straight guys who cross-dress. They do it simply because it's funny, and they're having fun.

Good idea. I can't tell you how many times I've pulled a muscle while slipping on my heels and falsies, just because I didn't do my exercises beforehand.

oh no! they discovered our secret plan.

CURSE YOU JESUS FOR EAVES DROPPING AND SENDING THE HOLY SPIRIT TO ALERT THE BIBLE POLICE THAT WE ARE TURNING ALL THE CHILDREN INTO HOMOGAYS!!!

Let them foam off at the mouth... harvey milk was not elected just becuse he was gay. he worked to both represent the gay community of S.F., but also to represent everyone.

and I dont ever remebering hearing that he was a cross dresser...

honestly, maybe madatory cross dressing might teach all the kids to respect gender, and not be sexist... a 'walk a mile in my manolo blahneks' kinda thing.

That's actually an annual event put on by some organization on my college campus.

They have several different sizes of high heels or other women's shoes, and men attempt to complete an obstacle course wearing said high heels. Includes stairs, uneven ground, and grass if I remember.

Harvey Milk wasn't even a cross dresser and never was. Sure, he helped Transgenders and cross dressers, but he certainly wasn't. He was a U.S. Eastern Jewish Man. Nothing more.

So what next, it's going to promote Judism? Come on people...
