I really want to organise an LGBT rights march sometime before I leave school but I want people's opinions as to whether I should ask my school if I can do it. What do you think?

What do you have to lose? What's the worst that can happen, they say no?

I'd say go for it!

I think it is a great idea. Maybe trying talking to a couple of teachers first about your idea and get their support as well before asking the school or principal as to whether you can go ahead with it. Good Luck!

One of the funnest things I've ever done is organize a gay rights rally protesting Prop 8. I say "go for it!"

For your town/city or for your school event? Does your school have a GSA or anything?

Go for it! See if there are any LGBT organizations in your area that may be able to help you get started. Good luck with it!
