interesting article about sweden allowing same sex marriages

i read somewhere that sweden was the most gay-friendly country in the world...

 

Cool! Now if only American churches could be more like this...

What the article doesn't mention though, is that this is the FIRST time in the world the main religion of a country, in this case the swedish lutheran church, starts wedding samesex couples. Awesome news, sadly however the lutheran churches from the surrounding countries are not as gay-friendly, the archbishop of the finnish lutheran church recently said he sees samesex couple weddings possible nowhere in the near future.
