HIV benifit. Discovery of uses for HIV virus

    Thought this was interesting. They were able to disable the dangerous parts of a HI virus, and use it to fight agaist a brain diesase.

    Posting this since alot of biggots use HIV to claim some divine punishment. Seems like doctors can use it for good too. Now, the question is, can we use this concept to fight aids also?

    Oh cool. I just did a presentation on gene therapy lately, but I had to argue for reasons why it shouldn't be used. (Personally, I'm all for it.) Thankfully this wasn't released before the presentation, otherwise I would have had some trouble arguing against it. xD
