I have gay family members in eastern oregon (my grandmother lives in pendleton, and my dad grew up in hepner/ioane *however its spelled*). Sometimes, I think people in eastern oregon get a bad rap... but eastern oregon, even though it is dominated by rural farm land and ranching, is more progressive than one would expect. It is good to see they are working to further help oregon, all of it, to be more educated and understanding.
