I'm sorry but I can't stand The Daily Show or Jon Stewart. It makes a good point, but a lot of people have been saying how illogical anti-gay people are for years.

 

there are two definitions of sodomy. the biblical one, and the midevil one.

the biblical one is : one who turns their face from god.

the midevil one: gays.

Technically, anti-gay people are the original definition, because christ spoke out against hatred, intolerence, and rejected leviticus, and never once spoke out against gay people while living under the rule of the romans, who viewed homosexuality as normal.

you cant expect these people to know jacksqaut about the bible and biblical history. they are told what to believe based on the agenda of others.

Hear Here! Well said. Why can we not let God judge. Hubris! reading the story when Jesus encountered the prostitute reminds us THAT EVEN GOD err JC DID NOT COME TO CONDEMN, but to call us to love one another. Funny how FOOLS RUSH IN where JC would not tread. How short sighted we become when we let emotion and or prejudice impede our thinking and intelligence.

 

Great job by the Daily Show It's one of my favorite shows, but I hardly watch it anymore. That has to change.

 

The lady at the very end made me so mad "There was a time that my forefathers did not have a voice, and could not vote. I am so happy that today I have the right to have a say, and that the gay marriage bill did not pass." Basically what she was saying is this "My people were once discriminated against, but thank god that we now have the right to discriminate against others."

 

Actually when an army recruiter stopped by to talk to my friend I asked if the army had rainbow camo and if so I'd think about joining..he just gave me a wierd look said no and went right back to talking with my friend..lol :lol:
