Haha, I love when homophobic lawmakers get nailed! I used to live in that city, and I know that not everyone who goes to Faces is gay, because like in a lot of cities, the gay dance clubs are the best ones. But a guy in his 50's with a male companion in his car? Think he's got lots more splaining to do besides the DUI

is it just me... or are the republicans and conservatives always gayer than RuPaul?

They are so fervently anti-gay, yet they are the ones getting caught picking up men, male prostitutes, cops in airport bathrooms, underage congressional pages through email, and a broad collection of internet porn on thier hard drives?

me thinks they are only are anti-gay for votes.

I’m incredibly cynical but I think most politician have no core beliefs and will say anything to get elected.

    transperency is a myth...

Mark Foley, Larry craig, Senator Assburn (ashburn), Ted Haggert... it amazes me how hypocritical these men are. Ted Haggert constantly gets caught, and he tries to sell his sexuality as a cureable illness. it pisses me off. he only pretended not to be gay because he made tens of millons a year taking a salery of that huge church of his.

I would be more upset with this particular brand of anti-gay politician if I didn't realize that they must be miserable and unhappy people. Can you imagine being in your fifties and preaching against homosexuality (in some cases making homosexuals out to be terrible people), while at the same time having to keep your own homosexual feelings a secret from everyone and hating yourself because of your deepest need and desire. It sounds like a wretched state of existence. I just pity these people.

  11. I don't even feel sorry for 'em. They're doing damage to the modern civil rights movement by voting against equality. They're lousy hypocrites and they need to help us, as well as themselves by saying YES to equality.

It's funny you say that because I really want to. Last night I placed a hold on it at the local library.

Yeah, I saw that. It was truly an excellent documentary. It kinda amuses me how alot of closeted fucktards are the most homophobic lawmakers out there. Must they spread their personal misery on us who accept ourselves? Truly truly sad. :frowning2:

On some level I feel bad for him because he's being put in the spot light for something he's obviously not that comfortable with =/

It's his problem though since he's protesting against the rights of LGBT people (and ultimately himself it seems). If he was seen as a genuinely "nice" man, with nice values and possibly on the line to lose his job by going to a gay bar, then I'd feel sorry for him.

He probably has so much internal homophobia from the church, his family and doesn't want to rip up his marriage that he keeps closeted. Maybe he realized he was gay after he was known for his homophobic comments. Whatever the case, he should divorce his wife so she can find a dude who will truely love her and not screw around on her or lie to her.
