i say and forgive the language fuck the school no offence to anyone. the kid is better off not being taught in a closed minded place where they would teach that the kids parents are wrong and bad.

    she can do better lol.

I agree, this is obviously wrong, and the school should allow anyone and whatever, but no way would I ever send my kid to a school as close minded as that, whether the law forced them to accept them or not. If there was even any question of it, I would send my kids elsewhere.

I thought somewhere in Matthew's gospel Jesus says "Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people like these."...

Nonetheless it's ridiculous. It's probably just because they dont want to be associated with gay parents. A child has got nothing to do with the sexuality of the parents.

I wonder why a homosexual couple would want to send their child to a school that would actually preach against the way they are living. It seems like that could be potentially stressful and harmful to the child.

Either way, they are a private school, so they are free to admit or reject anyone they please. I am really shocked this is even "news".

(And I hope none of the people who engage in making gross generalizations that the Church is full of pedophiles would engage in the hypocrisy of being offended when people make sweeping and offensive generalizations about homosexuals.)

I am glad this is news. Lots of Catholic schools don't preach the anti-gay to the kids, so it's helpful for parents to know how they really stand.

who cares what the relationship between its parents r, the parents relationship doesnt effect the kid in any way.

the parents dont go 2 the school.

as above f the school if they r gunna make the student nt go there any more just coz its parents r in a same sex relationship.

better off going 2 som other better school

I agree. If me and my future partner (when we get married) decide to have kids, we'd probably never put them in a religious school. That's just mean.

Then again... maybe the ladies were activists and trying to prove a point of how bigoted they are or change the viewpoints of places like this from the inside, out?

Exactly. "Fuck the school" was pretty much my thinking in reading this too, lol.

Well, a Catholic school isn't necessarily going to rail against homosexuality. I can't remember it being mentioned at all during the six years of secondary school, except by one teacher in an open way.

put it this way, How can the catholics complain about two adults in a consenting adult, when they still have a problem with their priest raping and molesting underage boys?

I smell a law suit. One which should easily be won. The child is enrolled there not the parents and thus their actions if not associated with the school should have no bearing on their child's education.

How can it possibly be breaking their beliefs? Jesus taugh love and compassion for ALL humans, regardless, so the child is well within his rights. The school itself is the one that is breaking the fundamental beliefs of Christianity.
